Mr. Robert Spencer is an Adjunct Professor in the Program in Quality Assurance in the College of Extended and International Education at California State University, Dominguez Hills where he teaches courses in customer requirements analysis, change management and ISO quality planning. He has experience in municipal government and corporate settings in both IT and operations using continuous improvement tools and techniques. He holds an MS in Quality Assurance and MA and BA degrees in psychology. Robert is the Editor of the Quality Management Forum.

The Quality Management Forum is the quarterly refereed publication of the Quality Management Division and is one of the key benefits of QMD membership. The Forum includes articles on quality management as well as information on QMD activities such as the annual conference and the certified quality manager program.
Although Forum articles may come from several sources, QMD members submit the majority of the articles. If you are interested in writing an article for the Forum, you may be want to check out the Getting Published web page. It includes tips on how to get published anywhere and also has the Author Guidelines and the Manuscript Review Process for the Forum. Potential authors may submit articles directly to the editor by uploading files on our website. Click here to directly upload your files.
The Forum is also taking paid advertising. If you provide products and services to the quality profession, the Forum can provide you with a direct link to many of the decision makers and influencers in your target market. For more information on how to advertise, Click Here.
New members should receive their first issue of the Forum within a few weeks of joining the Division. It will arrive by first class mail with a welcome letter from the Division Chair. Subsequent issues will be sent by bulk mail to arrive around the middle of January, April, July and October each year.
Bulk mailing does present a delivery problem for some members. Some mailrooms will not deliver bulk mail within their organization. If you are a new member and are not receiving your quarterly Forum, check with your mailroom first. If it has a policy against delivery of bulk mail, call ASQ and ask that your mailing address be changed to your home.
If your Forum is lost in the mail, call ASQ Customer Service at 800-248-1946 (United States and Canada only) and ask for a replacement copy.
